OS: WHERE ARE THE SHOES FROM?

OS: WHERE ARE THE SHOES FROM?

**The Most Requested Shoe**

Over the last two years, I have received countless requests for details of this Jil Sander Bamboo Shoe.

Friend of OS, Michaela is the owner and wearer of said shoe and as the saying goes, if I had a dollar for every time I was asked…well you know how the rest goes. The Jil Sander Bamboo shoe is sadly no longer available, although I did track down one pair on re-sale (still available at the time of posting).

After taking a poll on IG, I have scoured the internet and collated a selection of pointed flats that are available now ranging from $99 to $599.

Enjoy!

BOW TIE

Nikki

Love that you can create an ankle moment like the Jil Sander. Currently 30% off.

I like the delicate bow that you can loosely tie around the ankle, or tuck under if you wanted the option to style without.

ELEGANT

The Mary Jane

From Melbourne based Essen. I like the mule detail (like the Jil Sander) with the elegant, elongated silhouette.
Super versatile and easy to wear.

LOOK FOR LESS

Jester

Available in 6 colour ways, the price, the vamp and the gathered edge make this a great value option, plus I find TB quality to be quite good.

TEXTURE

Lina

A great black option, especially if wearing with the soft matte sheen of our leather pants. Love the texture and gloss.
This is a great post from stylist Alison Bornstein  on ways to incorporate a black shoe when you keep reaching for a lighter option.

 BEAD

Suede Slingbacks

Currently 40% off on the Outnet. If you search this shoe you will find them available in many places at full price.
These are an evergreen style for Cucinelli so would appear to be a great purchase at this price.
The mushroom suede with the subtle black seed bead detail on the strap and vamp create a quite, stylish point of view.

SATIN

Hilton

Thanks to stylist Sim Farrugia for sharing this option with me. Available in Slate, Black and Chocolate Satin.
They feature a collapsible back meaning you can create a mule, and a deep pointed toe.

BRACELET

Neave Flat

Another share via Sim- not many sizes left but a steal at $99 and whilst these are not pointed toe, I do love the bracelet detail on the ankle and the way it sits low and drapes against the leg - and most importantly does not cut you off at the ankle!
