OS: DRESSING FOR THE IN-BETWEEN
The shoulder season has arrived.
Spring in the Southern Hemisphere, Fall in the North.
It’s transeasonal, transitional — and most of us are feeling for something new.
In a recent poll on my IG stories, 66% of you said you dress for yourselves. This made me smile.
As a 42-year-old, dressing for myself is a small, daily pleasure — a moment of creative expression in an otherwise practical day.
Here are three boards to inspire dressing for the now — for that moment between seasons, where you’re not quite ready for full bloom or full layering.
I'm often asked if I’ll ever add denim, coats, or blazers to the OS range.
While I never say never — right now, the market is saturated.
Instead, I’d rather offer my design and sourcing knowledge to inspire.

DEEP DENIM
Dark, raw denim is having a quiet return.
My husband just re-entered his denim era with a pair of raw indigo jeans.
I instantly regretted selling my dark Totême pair from a few years ago — and then saw Leandra talking about dark denim again.
It’s back.
I’m holding out for my upcoming Tokyo trip to do a deep dive into raw Japanese denim — and will report back, of course.
In the meantime, there’s something undeniably polished about glossy black, deep navy, and silky dark tones.
DESSERT NUETRALS
It’s a dessert palette — but the grown-up kind.
Caramels, soft dusty pinks, hints of gold and oatmeal — grounded by charcoal and rich textures.
The colour harmony only Mrs Prada could inspire.
What do you add?
A pop of red. A soft contrast. Something unexpected.
It’s not neutral, it’s nuanced.
EVENING GLOSS
Summoning warmer weather in Australia, but hoping this inspires wherever you are.
A black sandal, glossy wide-leg leather pant, and textured camisole (bonus points for embellishment).
Throw a knit over your bag or your shoulders — the easiest way to feel ready for evening without layering too soon.
It’s the outfit that takes you from the sun to the chill — right where the season shifts.
